One of my favorite trees is the Cottonwood. Love its leafy, fluttery ways. I like the ways the leaves change color depending on how the sunlight hits them and the sound the leaves make when the wind is blowing.

Great Haiku and photo. I'm unfamiliar with Cottonwood trees, but I do love the way the leaves on a Poplar tree sound when the wind blows. Nice!
ReplyDeleteTourmaline? Trying to remember, there was unbelievably huge cottonwood somewhere up Northome way. See you have a new follower. Name sounds familiar.

Michael, that is beautiful and this should not be your last Haiku. Tourmaline is a jewel that when polished is iridescent. It is also an alternative birth stone for Libras. Rachelle, Poplar is in the family of Cottonwoods. Thank you both for your comments.
