Haiku
I like to write Haiku poetry. This form of poetry originates from Japan. Haiku has a specific form: 3 lines, 17 syllables. 1st line has 5 syllables, 2nd line has 7 and 3rd line has 5. The subject of Haiku is nature. It's like a form of meditation for me as you have to immerse yourself in nature, connect with it and then express it. A very mind clearing and spiritual experience.

Hopi Prayer
Do not stand
at my grave and weep.
I am not there
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand
winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints
on snow.
I am the sunlight
on the ripened grain.
I am the gentle
Autumn's rain.
When you awaken
in the morning hush,
I am the swift
uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars
that shine at night.
Do not stand
at my grave and cry;
I am not there,
I did not die
at my grave and weep.
I am not there
I do not sleep.

Boy the discipline of Haiku, how do you do it? Suggestion, explain Haiku on the side bar, I'll bet not everyone knows what your doing here. Even more impressive when one realizes there is a rule here.
